It’s no surprise that one of Dr. Dave’s true loves in life is exploring different places, cultures, and foods: He lived in two countries and six different states within the United States prior to making Arizona his home.
Dr. Dave’s interest in dentistry was sparked when he volunteered at a dental clinic during a high school summer break. The impact of helping others by pairing his artistic skills with strong scientific knowledge inspired his desire to be a dentist.
Following his undergraduate training at University of Minnesota, Dr. Dave attained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University in 2007. He joined the military following graduation to serve as a Naval officer, and practiced general dentistry at the Marine Corp Base in Camp Lejeune for three years. Being afforded an opportunity to experience various fields within dentistry, Dr. Dave discovered his passion for pediatric dentistry while working at the Naval hospital on base.
Dr. Dave’s desire to specialize in pediatric dentistry took him to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. His pediatric residency provided rigorous training in providing care for children with various treatment needs, ranging from high anxiety and special needs children to medically compromised cases.
Following his residency, Dr. Dave moved to Phoenix with his wife, Mansi, who continues to pursue her career in medicine. Feeling at home in Phoenix has been easy with the generous and loving support of his community, friends, and family.
